Hibiscus Flower

hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is widely used in the Sudan and known locally as Karkade. It’s a frontier natural product grown in the form of a flower and is known to lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol and digestion. Dried hibiscus is traditionally used as a drink either hot or cold.

Hibiscus contains: calories protein, fat, total carbohydrate, fiber, ascorbic acid. The chemicals in hibiscus flower helps in growth of hair, reduces dandruff and makes the hair black. The fiber from this stem is qualitative. This can be used in manufacturing of clothes, nets and paper.

Packing and Export
Packing is usually done in PP bags 20~22 KG, and exported in 40 feet containers which will carry 11.5 metric tons.
